Vinnies Street to Home Outreach Program
Each week, Vinnies visits the EMC for the Street to Home outreach program.
The Vinnies Street to Home outreach program supports people who are sleeping rough and/or experiencing chronic, long-term homelessness.
Street to Home offers both case management and assertive outreach to assist people who are experiencing chronic homelessness, with a focus on physical health, mental health, housing and legal issues.
The Vinnies Street to Home staff actively seek those sleeping rough and engage with them to build relationships based on understanding and respect. The team will continue to offer support even if initially turned away.

Street to Home is located in Canberra, ACT. Street to Home uses an ‘assertive outreach’ model, which means that Vinnies staff actively seek those sleeping rough and engage them to build a relationship based on understanding and respect.

You can speak to Vinnies at the EMC on Tuesdays between 9.30am and 10.30am.
