National Volunteer Week (NVW) is an annual celebration coordinated by Volunteering Australia to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers. This year’s NVW theme is “Changing Communities. Changing Lives”.

Changing lives is exactly what our volunteers do. Last year our volunteers served over 10,000 breakfasts to people in need! That’s over 10,000 times guests have been able to start their day with a healthy meal and a friendly smile. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our volunteers for their hard work. This year has been particularly challenging for all of us and we greatly appreciate the dedication of our volunteers.

The EMC could not provide the level and quality of service currently available without the valuable contribution of our volunteers.
