Feel Good Feed Launch
We’re excited to launch a new engagement program, called Feel Good Feed.
The Early Morning Centre’s new Feel Good Feed program provides the opportunity for local businesses and community groups to get firsthand experience helping vulnerable people, by cooking and serving lunch for EMC guests.
Local businesses and community groups are invited to attend the EMC to cook lunch for our guests. The supporter will provide, prepare and cook the lunch using the EMC’s kitchen facilities. The supporter will also be taken on a tour of the EMC to learn more about the services we provide.
The Feel Good Feed program is a great way for members of the community to learn more about the issues facing people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness. It’s also a great opportunity for a team-building exercise. Read more about the program and check out the media release announcing the program.
Our First Feel Good Feed Supporter
Our first Feel Good Feed lunch is scheduled for Wednesday, 16 March with EMC Sponsor, Canberra Consulting.
Canberra Consulting CEO, Paul Angelatos, said they feel privileged to be able to support the EMC. “In a city like Canberra it is a travesty that we still have members of our community that don’t have a safe place to call home.
“I think it behoves us all, where we can, to pitch in and support those that need a hand up.” said Paul.
