Dr Kim Huynh, ANU Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations and Deputy Director at the Humanities Research Centre volunteers his time to facilitate a weekly current affairs discussion group for EMC guests.

It is an easy-going and fun chance to ask and address questions about culture and ideas relating to the ACT, Australia and the world.

 

About Dr Kim

Dr Kim Huynh has had a go at a few things. He teaches courses on refugee politics and political philosophy at the Australian National University. He’s published a successful book about his parents and the Vietnam War named Where the Sea Takes Us along with short stories, academic articles and essays for a range of news outlets. Kim ran as an independent candidate in the 2016 ACT Election and in the 2022 Federal Election. He is a presenter on ABC Radio Canberra and has produced an ABC Radio National Earshot radio documentary with EMC guest Martin Steer.

Schedule

The weekly discussion group with Dr Kim Huynh is held every Tuesday from 12.00pm to 1.00pm.

All guests are welcome to join.
