Guitar Donation

Guitar Donation

In March we received a wonderful donation of restored, pre-loved guitars.

The guitars had been restored by a lovely man named Colin. Colin volunteers with Soldier On and he also runs a charity where he collects and fixes old guitars and then donates them to charities and community organisations like the EMC.

We are so grateful to Colin and Soldier On for this generous donation of music that we can share with our guests.

Playing a musical instrument like a guitar is not only fun and entertaining for the musician and others, but it’s also beneficial for our physical and mental health. Music helps reduce stress, strengthens patience and perseverance, improves memory, and cultivates creativity.

Thanks to this donation, we will be hosting fortnightly guitar jam sessions, run by Colin.

Here are some photos of Colin and Avril from Soldier On donating the restored pre-loved guitars.
