Guitar jam sessions
Guitar Jam Sessions
Can you play the guitar and want to share your enjoyment?
Our guitar jam sessions have been paused as our instructor is no longer available.
We are currently looking for a new instructor. Instruments are provided.
We have many talented musicians among our guests and they enjoy playing together.
If you or someone you know is interested in hosting our guitar jam sessions, please contact us to find out more.
We are excited to announce that our guitar jam sessions are starting back!
In March last year, we received a wonderful donation of pre-loved guitars. The guitars had been restored by Colin who runs a charity where he collects and fixes old guitars and donates them to charities and community organisations like the EMC.
Thanks to this donation, we were able to run fortnightly jam sessions, however, these had to put on hold due to the pandemic. Now, we’re excited that the sessions are recommencing as of Tuesday, 14 June 2022.
Playing a musical instrument like a guitar is not only fun and entertaining for the musician and others, but it’s also beneficial for our physical and mental health. Music helps reduce stress, strengthens patience and perseverance, improves memory, and cultivates creativity.
Upcoming guitar jam sessions
Postponed until further notice. Updates will be provided on this page and our Facebook page.
Colin will be hosting guitar jam sessions at the EMC fortnightly on Tuesdays, from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
All guests are welcome to join in, either to play or relax and listen.
